well i got 6 boxes up in the forest today.not sure if i like what i did or not.my dad came for a visit to bum my tiller and i recruited him to ladder climbing.only got a short ladder and was only able to get the bottom of the boxes about 7ft off ground.not sure if that is high enough. i am to fat and my dads to old to balance off the top of a uneven ladder in the woods.....roflmao.....i will watch these for awhile and see how they are used.then go from there....what i really need is a set of climbing spurs and flipline to climb up about 10 or so.but anyhow heres how they looked.only took 5 pics had a brain fart on the 6th one.

you need a good climbing stand ;D

I have a 10' orchard ladder that works good for that kind of stuff. Kinda like a three legged step ladder. Lets you get up next to the tree and they are really stable.

these boxes are for squirrels but i am sure anything that claims them for their home will.
