I wanted to add a little more info on the forum for Chicken of the Woods or Sulfur Shelf as it's also called. I posted awhile ago about finding some on my way to work. Well here is a picture of it growing on a dead Oak Tree. This is a good mushroom, but I have found that it is picky as far as taste. You want only the freshest parts, and it's best if eaten right away. I kept some in the fridge for a week and did not like it after I cooked it.

Mostly morels. I went after these for the first time this year. Will maybe try and get some oyster mushrooms next year. One at a time. There are so many types of mushrooms out there that a person needs to really study them and learn what to look for.
