Some of you guys know that I purchase silver as a savings program instead of CD, IRA, ROTH, 401K, or savings accounts.

Long story short.............Silver is in what is going to be a very short term lull right now. With inflation exceeding 40% the past couple years, comodities are doing very well, especialy gold and silver.

Anhow, if some of you have a little bit if money you want to save or move a savings into a savings/investment, now would be a good time to buy silver. You can get one once of silver for a little over $30.00

This time last year I was buying silver for $14-18.00 an once. Now it is selling near $40.00 and trades for a little over $30.00

I experienced a return of 81% on my investment on average. What does your Savings account return to you?

Just a though that might help some people.

To buy small amounts, your local coin shop, pawn shops, and I like auction sites. I started my investments on ebay last year for example.

Do have to make sure it is pure silver and in Troy Onces. Normaly it will say .999 and typicaly you buy them in 1 troy once and 10 troy once bars or coins.

I like the mint A MARK, but I have bough all sorts of different mints. It does not realy matter.

US coins, Australian coins, and European coins are also great, but you are going to pay a premium but arguably, you would get that premium back.

As for selling, I also like auction sites because you get retail sale price(minus fees) instead of trade price, but if you need cash quickly, pawn shops and coin shops are instant cash.

Now if you have a lot of money to move and invest, my favorite website is goldsilver.com I also get my pricing from this source and some other political information.

As for being back, my time eliminating busy season is over and I can play a little online now.

Just something to think about compared to CDs and Passbook accounts.
