Over the past 8 years, I've experimented with various food plots, including some new stuff this year. While some worked, some failed, and some never even grew, I think next year I'm going back to what has really worked for me. Soy beans and Sorguhm. Everytime I've planted these, they offered a multitude of wildlife draw, even thru the harshest months.
Here's a stand of sorguhm I planted a couple years ago, picture taken about this time of year. The birds, deer, turkey and pheasant came to this as soon as it headed out, all the way thru March. Same with the soy beans the year before.
I only offer my findings up that if you're trying to figure out what to plant in the future for food plots, you can't go wrong with these two
