Made a batch today. I just halve them, stuff with a mixture of ground meat, ground sausage, italian seasoning, chopped onions and some minute rice. These are headed for the freezer. We just pull out a pack of 4, let thaw, then add some homemade tomato sauce over the top, with a bit of shredded sheese and bake for a half hour.
those look mighty delicious!!! what a great idea...I have never tried stuffing then freezing...I sure do wish I had a bigger freezer so I could do more make ahead meals like that. It makes it so easy to serve nice meals on a busy weeknight..... ;D

the wife makes stuffed pepper soup,instead of stuffing them you dice the peppers,otherwise the same tom sauce onions hamb. onions,we can it in qt jars when she makes a big batch
