You ever build a door from scratch? I did today

For the spare bathroom. For 9 years now, I had an accordian type door for the spare bathroom, and the slide mechanism took a s**t a few months ago, making the usage of the bathroom useless. I've always hated that closure, and want to make a custom door for it.
I finally fixed it today, and built a door from pine, scammed, free from work. Complete with a 1 1/2 coilspring for a handle. I'll get 'er trimmed tomorrow with some stain to finish it off. Love it.

Here's the opening, with some 2X6's I installed for the frame

Door installed. Need to finish up the inside and get some stain on 'er, but I love it.

Very cool buddy ;D Awesome rustic look to it. In the last 3 places I have lived, I built all the interior doors for them. Tedious work for sure. Karma coming.

Here's the completed door. I added a strong magnet in the upper corner of the door (hidden) to keep door shut from outside. Inside has a latch.

I have done a lot of different projects around the house but never a door. That door is awesome! Like the handle a bunch. Might have to try a door myself after seeing this one.
