So I've proven to myself that i can catch coon, coyote, and fox but I have a little peckerhead of a rabbit wreaking havoc in my garden and I cant catch the little bastard. So far I have only tried a live trap with no success. Has anyone ever tried anything else like a #1 or a #110? Also, whats your preferred bait for a live trap?
Little SOB has destroyed my green beans this year. He only comes out after dark so shooting it is going to be tough, although I havent ruled out getting a pair of night vision goggles and going Rambo on it!

We box trap rabbits to relocate them for the beagle club I belong to. We use apples for bait, you still need to try and stay some what sent free. If you goggle box trapping rabbits you should find some plans on them. I have not had much luck with the live traps. Maybe if you cover the trap well and make it look like a cubby it will work better. But use apples and put a few pealing in front of the trap first to get him/her interested. Best of luck to you.
Trapping and Hunting is not a matter of life or death its much more important then that.
