Finally got to the garden

well I was finally able to get to the garden this am, it's been over 2wks,weeds pretty much took over. I did have some paper and straw down so it wasn't all bad. Put some more paper and straw down and tilled up the rest.

This pic you can see some peppers , cukes, beans ,carrots and beets.

This pic are some of the tomatoes,these are Roma's,trying histopickers idea with the string to see if they will climb.

This pic is a few peppers peas in the back,some lettuce and a big boy tomato plant.

This is a banana pepper, small plant but getting peppers on it.

Thanks rondy, that's made out of concrete mesh , you can get three out of one piece of mesh.

Garden is picking up a bit , plenty of rain now we need some heat.

That garden is looking good, nytrapper23. You are at least a couple of weeks ahead of me in NW Wisconsin. Can't wait. Enjoy the veggies of your labor.

Good stuff. Mine is getting weedy but coming along nicely. Gonna have to hobble out and take care of the weeds soon!

Couldn't wait any longer , picked a zuke for lunch and a few yellow onions.

Well I did get some reward from my garden today , I haven't been able to take care of it the way I should . Should have some beans in the next couple days.

Another pretty good haul today , some of my tomato plants have blight pretty bad so I picked everything off those plants hoping they will ripen up.

Really neglected the garden this year , but it's still producing a little for me.

Yeah, mine was neglected too. I am still getting tomatoes and peppers, but everything else is done.

I pulled the garden this weekend. Moved the pepper buckets to the driveway as they are still going. Love fresh veggies!

Planted some leftover seeds on a whim. Surprisingly still have some beets & kale growing. Talk about hardy fall crops  it snowed yesterday.
