Went out for a walk to the garden after supper tonight with the wife and noticed a large cluster of my bees bearding on the front of one of my hives and it got me panicked. Usually I would say they are trying to cool off themselves/the hive but we have had about 3 days of cool weather, so I thought they must be running out of room. I quickly suited up and did a check and sure enough they had filled the deep full of capped honey. This is amazing as I checked it 2 weeks ago and they hadn't drawn all the comb yet on a few frames. They must have had a real population boom and got busy or something. With everything in full bloom I'll be keeping a close eye on them from now on.
