Well The peppers were finally dry enough. I had ordered a few different pepper types from Hungary this past year to try. They grew well and produced a lot of peppers. My daughter and I finally got around to grinding them up the other day. It has way more flavor than the store bought crap we as Americans know as paprika. It also has a good bit of heat. It should make some good spicy kielbasa.
The German is like a willow. No matter which way you bend him, he will always take root again.

Well, I finally got around to using some of the paprika. It has some heat. I used it to make some spicy kielbasa and a Hungarian dish called. Lecso. It was delicious. I'm glad I saved a bunch of seeds. I will definitely plant this again. If anyone wants some seeds let me know. The plants were great producers.

I wondered what kind of pepper they made paprika from. I like to use smoked paprika but can't hardly find it. I'd like to make my own! Could smoke the peppers while smoking other things.
