My bee mentor has a bunch of shallow hive bodies, that he no longer uses. I have been adding about one inch to the bottom of them, to make them fit medium frames. Build a one inch frame and attach it to the bottom. Also repairing some beat up boxes.
Also made a few hive top feeders, used them this fall to feed sugar water , they worked well. Fat bee man pattern.
