tight before this cold snap, i found a handful of small balck sponge in on eof my local haunts. Gonna check again tonight and see if there are enough up for a meal.

Congrads Hillbilly ;D You found any big ones yet? Only small greys and a few small honeycombs here.....sure takes a lot of the little guys to make a meal. Do any better tonight?

i ended up finding about a dozen more that evening, but the cold snap destroyed them, they had already began drying out. I doubt we'll have many if any snakeheads this year, probably just yellers, long as it warms up soon.

found round two this afternoon, probably 30 black sponge(see pics as posted in below reply) and a few snakeheads. The snakeheads were in prty rough shape, kindly dried up, but the blacks were fresh, mst were small, couple over 4 inches, most were just and inch or two. next week should be great if we git a little rain.

It's been a bad year for shrooms round here. I think that cold snasp we had while back messed things up I've only found about 5# usually by now I'm bored of finding them and tired of eating them. Did find a few big uns though
