heres some ideas for you.long term food plot.common apple and persimmon trees.wildlife love them.got these for about 80cents a piece.i put them in pots to help them get bigger before i set them out i and put wire around after setting them out in a couple of years.i haven't been able to find any large persimmon trees for sale,so i am growing my own .

I am lucky enough to have a ton of apple and large mass producing persimmons here on my place. If you need anymore seeds let me know. Ill send ya some.

I'm from Jackson, which can't be more than a mile from ya.
I'll be planting some liberty apple trees and some hybrid oaks this year. I have a lot of wild apple trees on my acreage that I'm going to start thinning out the woods around them. Next winter I'll get to work on pruning those trees.

put some fertilizer on them now it will help them.
