I have a little 50" discer for mine. As well as an old harrower for burying broaodcasted seed. I wish I had a little bit bigger 4 wheeler, something in the 600 to 700 range CC. I'm limited to all the options out there available by only having a 400 4x4.
I do like that tow behind seeder you got JC. What's something like that run. Does it have seed selection plates, or just the pie turner to ajust opening?
What brand of disc do you have? I was looking at the summit ones the other day and man they seem like some heavy duty $hit ;D Does the disc you have do the job pretty good?
The spreader I have is the largest I could find. I bought it at Agway for 269.00 Yes it is adjustable.
JC, I have a King Kutter. I bought is at TSC a couple years ago. I does a fantastic job of working the ground. The more passes you make, the finer you can get the dirt. The unit "specifies" no weight required, but I found that adding 80 Lbs on top makes quicker, easier work of the ground. Especially busting thru no-till.

i have quite a few buddies that are in qdma and jsut started a chapter, and they have a lot of atv implements like a disc, a sprayer, a small homemade grain drill to go behind a small tractor (like a farmall a or bn), a cultipacker and a few more thing i cant think of. my buddy and i are going ot start make small cultipackers or of one big one that he has that the frame is all bent to heck and cant be used so we are going to make like 6-8 smaller ones out of it and sell them to ppl in our chapter that dont have one yet
I made my own.. got an old horse drawn disc with the hill wheels on front and to plow up the rough stuff i got a 5' bog , when set to cut that thing will tear up the ground. i pull them with my 680 rincon. ;D
