well the little spurs off my woods road are coming along.it has been 3 weeks since plant date.last week it looked so good after a week i thought it would be nice to top dress them with some mild organic granular fertilizer.it is only about 4-4-4 but i wanted to give them a boost and try it out.so i used only one spreader box of my hand spreader to see what it does.well i think it really helped out a bunch.there was a small shower over the last week also. i think these spur plots are going to beat the deer and get to some size for them to graze down......i hope.it is to be 24 inches tall in 45 days.we will see how it grows and what the deer decide to do to it.
