Once you get cut worms in your garden, it's hard to get rid of them, what do yopu guys do the stop them, we used to cut the bottom out of a paper cup, and slide it over the plant when we planted, and would leave 3-4' sticking above the ground, seemed to work. Steve
Never had a problem with cut worms. I've had issues with robins and grackles pulling plants for nesting material though. I try to leave them plenty of straw laying around now.

Beer traps. Take a short plastic cup, sand the edge smooth, sink into soil so the rim is level with surface, put beer in. They go for the yeast and drown.
cant recall ever having cut worms in my garden we have used beer traps to kill slugs in are flower garden its been a couple years since i've had veggie garden hopefuly this year
