I was reading Downhome's post and it made me think of a recent purchase I made that I thought I would pass along.
Many years ago I found a restaurant supply store in Concord, I love love love that store. It's not a fancy place and its kind of hidden, but it was a great find!!
Last week a friend and I were shopping and she mentioned that she needed a new cookie sheet.....well we decided to go check out the restaurant supply. They have 1/2 sheet pans (which is the size of a large cookie sheet) for $5.75. You can't by a crappy cookie sheet for that price. These are heavy duty and will last forever. They won't buckle in the oven and there is no coating to come off on your baked goods (yuk!!). They have loaf pans, pizza pans, cookware, bowls, knives, cutting boards, all kinds of stuff at really low prices.
So I would suggest if your going to do any butchering or if your looking to replace your bake ware etc....see if you have a restaurant supply store around and check them out.

That's a great tip Nutso. I've been slowly increasing the size and scope of my deer processing. I'm gonna look into this before buying anything else. Thanks and have a Karma.
