Thinking of going off line--well kinda

Wife and I were talking about turning off the cable and internet here at the house. We both have internet at work and the kid uses it at school.
Anyone else thought about this?

We have talked about it, but my Bride works part time from home and I'd lose my weekend swamp connection.

i could live without cable but not internet, i need my swamp fix... hahah !

We don't have any cable here or dish or TV reception. If we're watching the tube it's a disk or tape. The internet is a tax deduction so that will be staying. ;D

I have been without t.v. for a little over 2 years now. The internet I will keep. I just have to have my fix of outdoor forums and chatrooms.

I have no cable, satellite, or tv reception either. It's either dvd or vhs if I want to watch something. I got rid of my land line last year, so no internet either. After the high speed connection here at work, dial up was horrible anyway.
