Gentlemen,
Rather than get up and go cut small cedars and sticker vines up on the road, I seem to prefer sitting here 'thinking about it'.
I haven't cleared the sticker vines and small crap up there in 25 years and it was getting so grown over my friend {who usually has good beer} won't even drive his SUV on my road because it scratches it too bad.
I took off yesterday and cooked a brisket and now have good 'ready to eat' food, so I am back on the wood job.
The day before yesterday when I quit, my fore arms were solid blood and this morning are all scratched up, but that is why I am cutting all the crap up there in the first place.
It's 10:00 am and I don't have any beer so there is nothing else to do but work {Dern}
Anyway, it is as thick up there as the entire land was 27 years ago.
A man couldn't crawl through it and on the road there is an old 70 year old fence with a million big, stunted, cedars bent around all this thick mass of crap.
Cedars on both sides of the fence as close together as they can be. Sticker vines and saw briar's are hanging from over head, the white bark tangle foot growing from below and grown into the mass of stuff and with big grape vines everywhere binding the crap together, that I am intending to spend today and tomorrow
{at least} cutting out and burning.
So it is plain to see that I would rather sit here at my computer and just 'tell yawl' about all the work I intend to do today.
I 'almost', would rather sit around my dirty old house and watch the same old movies all day and drink beer but 'I ain't got none',
and the work I did the other day, 'does' look good.
When I get a bunch more 'cutting done' on the road clearing project and the woods job it will look even better,
almost like someone lived here.
And I will be able to 'better appreciate' all the the fine work I did on my land clearing the woods and the road.
