Can anyone add a recipe for turtle soup?

Can anyone here add a recipe for turtle soup please? There is none that I seen here in The Swamp.

Never made soup from them, always fried. Why couldn't you just use a chicken soup recipe and substitute?

By the way what kind do you have?

I make soup from snappers I catch in the summer, when I butcher I keep the neck and leg meat on the bone, simmer in water to cover, with onion and cellery. simmer til meat comes off bone. discard bones and vegs. I add a little beef or fish stock then make my soup as you would make vegetable soup, adding what ever vegies you like.

That sounds pretty good, dad always pressured ours before frying.
