Do you grab some cans of sardines? How about kippered herring? Smoked oysters or clams? I grab a few of each when I'm there. I love this stuff for snacks, along with some crackers

Love smoked baby clams in cottonseed oil on butter cracker, and smoked oysters! Also pickled herring in sour cream on not wheat thins but the other crackers argh can't think of the name!

Sardines, herring, oysters, clams...they're all good. Sometimes I make something that I call "chuff", short for "chowder and stuff"...
I take a can of clam chowder, add a can of oysters, and cut up some of those fake crab legs and throw them in there too. I actually offended some people where I used to work when I put it in the microwave. I guess they didn't like the smell!
I didn't make it for a while now...next time out shopping, I'll get the ingredients for "chuff" .

LOL, Work has a Selection of Canned Fish, I fill up a Paper Lunch bag with all flavours of Kippers, sardines and canned tuna snacks!

Iffin you like small sardines JC, try the King Oscar brand. Get the ones that have a red plastic wrapper around the tin and say "double layer" on them. I like the ones in olive oil and I put several drops on white vinegar on them. You won't regret it!
