A friend cut a potato in half, rubbed it on the bottom of a turkey pot. It stayed like new. I tried on my stainless evaporator but it didn’t work the same? My wife gave me some (grease lighting?) and it took the soot off with the wire grinder. Like you said before, when the beer is gone and the clean-up starts YOU STAND ALONE

run a bunch of clead water through after we are done and before we start up again My dad is the one who does that so Im not sure if he does anything else but always run clean water through before and after season
What we would do with our camp cook ware before switching to cast iron we would rub dish soap on the bottoms and the soot would just wipe right off.
