Recent honey-do project. A new clothesline

Just got this up not too long ago. I put the posts about 25 feet apart. I added a set of turnbuckles at one end, to tighten up the lines after their initial stretching and sagging. Works great, and the better half is happy

Looks like you going to need some anchor cable on the outside. You made the poles so dang heavy [sturdy] I bet the wife will really load wet cloths on it and the will sag in soon into itself.

Nah, I purposely used heavy timber and framing to prevent that. Both posts are 3 feet down, and concreted in. I also made sure both posts we're slightly tilted outwards when setting the concrete. I wanted to make sure we could hang even the heaviest wet comforters and rugs if need be, and be no sagging or bendning of the posts. It's working out great

I'm surprised though that you didn't have the ol lady take a pic of you drinking beer next to and have that 3 "sheets to the wind" thing going on
