I have always been interested in hearing about things that happen along the way of life, particularly about how families work together to obtain their goals and dreams. So I figured that I would share my families dream and how it is still coming true everyday.
My wife and I were married in a whirlwind, we were dating for about 3 months before I asked her to marry me and we then went on a cross country trip in her car. We did 27 states in about 26 days we went everywhere, Yellowstone, Glacier, Mt. Rushmore, my favorite, Stuttgart Arkansas (home of Mack Prairie Wings & RNT), and of course Las Vegas where we were married in her VW Jetta in drive thru chapel. I know classy right? Anyway we were polar opposites, I grew up in the country and she grew up in the city. She liked my lifestyle and we decided that the country would be the best place to raise our family. We rented a few houses before we found the house we really wanted to buy here in NJ. The house was a little rundown and un-kept but it had good bones and most of all 10.5 acres of land which is kind of hard to come by down this way. We jumped though hoops, story for another day, but we were able to buy the house and so Robertson's Nantuxent Creek Farms was born. We named the farm for the tidal creek that borders our property. I know 10.5 acres is not much of a farm but for now it is keeping us extra busy. We do plan to expand the farm and lease some other properties but that is in the 5 and 10 year plan. Here are some of the pictures of the house when we took ownership.

Nantuxent Creek - great late season duck hunting
My favorite place - the front porch
