just came in from rabbit hunting & had a great day. killed 3 rabbits & picked 5 big sheeps head shrooms. cleaned one up , fried it in butter with oinions & eating it while i post this. just killed 2 hogs 2 weeks ago, killin rabbits & squirrels, pickin fall shrooms & my fire wood is all in. life is good in my small part of the world trapping begins in a couple weeks.

tried the pic but it said my file size was to big. and who says size doesnt matter anyway ill have to work on that tonite when i get home from work. on my way to work now. i find them usuakky around old oak trees. they also call them rams heads & hens of the woods. easy to find , easy to clean & cook and easy to eat. they freeze well too

These are REALLY good tasting mushrooms. I grew some indoors this year. I've got a 5 gallon pail of aspen shavings, with the shredded up mycelium from that crop, in it, outside right now. I'm hoping something will materialize from that next year. If not, it was worth a try.
Besides being quite tasty, they are considered a strong anti-cancer medicine, and also said to reduce blood pressure, control diabetes, and lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Go get 'em! ;D
