The first time I made this I followed the recipe as I'm going to list it here, but be warned. At dinner time the pan was empty before everyone had as much as they wanted. Now I don't follow much of a set recipe, but we all get full and have leftovers for lunches.
Brown 1# burger in 4 qt pot (season to taste) Add 1 chopped onion Cover with 2 cups water and simmer 10 min. Add 3 baseball sized potatoe Add 1 can corn/ green beans Add 3 slices of bacon cut to 1" pieces Cook on med heat till potatoes are cooked Add 2 cups milk Return to a boil and it done. I like to make a rue of 1 cup milk and 2-4 Tbls of corn starch that I stir in as soon as it boils to thicken it up. Our local store has fresh baked cheese rolls that go great with this. Hope you enjoy!
