I had a request for my rice ball and dipping sauce recipe so here ya go.
I use sushi rice to make the rice balls. After the rice is cooked I roll them into balls about the size of a quarter.
Here are a few recipes for dipping sauce.
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce, 2 TBS soy sauce, 2 TBS rice wine vinegar, 1 finely chopped chili of choice, 3 tsp sesame oil, 1 bunch finely sliced scallions
1 TBS sugar, 2 tsp warm water, 1/4 cup rice vinegar, 1 tsp Sricacha, 1 TBS lime juice, 1 tsp fish sauce 1 TBS finely grated carrot, 1 finely chopped scallion
4 TBS lime juice, 4 TBS rice wine vinegar, 2 TBS sugar, 1 tsp red chili flakes, 1 scallion finely chopped, 1 tsp sesame oil.
Here are 3 different dipping sauces for your enjoyment. Allow the ingredients to 'marry' for about an hour. Dip the rolled up rice balls in the sauce and enjoy some good eats.
