Made this door from reclaimed barn wood , it's going in the dining room I just did to the upstairs, using an old rail and roller system that I got from an old barn , had the rollers but the brackets were missing so I fabricated some .

Here is the roller and bracket .

Little more tinkering , had to make another bracket but I got the door hung . Came out great . Now on to the next project.

Alright, we'll just keep this rolling, 2017, What are your plans, Fur shed builds, gardens, poultry, stock, whatever, post up what you think you are going to get into this spring. One thing for sure is the Swamp has some really talented folks, with some very inspirational builds, some true craftsman. So there may be some folks who can offer advice or some guidance when we're looking into a possible project.

Started another project , this is another one of our rentals . The other one I started in the spring is all sided just need to finish the soffits and dormers but I need a lift for that so I moved on to the next one .

Rain day today so no siding today. So I went to my daughters and started a flooring project .
Had two coats of paint on it but the 24 grit sandpaper took care of that .



All the paint is removed.

Three passes over it with 100 grit and it's ready for stain . Just have to hit the edges and corners .

I love that old patch in the middle. Most people would probably repair it, but I like the character. Busy man, and cool projects as usual!

Nytrapper good restoration of a old floor! Did you use a drum sander or that belt sander in the window on the whole floor?

Bk, I will have to look to see what kind the poly is. Carolina, I rented a drum sander for the main floor and the belt sander and good old elbow grease for the edges and corners.

Bk, it was a minnwax product called polyshield, and it was a satin finish.
