I've had a challenging year with my bees. No extra honey to speak of but the little ladies sure raised bees. Lots of swarms and queen issues with my nucs. I have three nucs plus my full hives. Nucs are really light on honey so I'm feeding sugar syrup so they can be ready for the winter ahead. Do your bees have enough reserves for winter? If not, get them on syrup yesterday. The ladies will appreciate it. And how is your mite load? Not too late to deal with mites, especially with the hives are slowing down. Good luck.
Good advice bk. I sure missed my bees this year and can't wait to get back into it next year. Good luck with the over-wintering, and be sure to let us know how things are going.
