i been haveing dam?culvert problems.a flood several years ago tore out a riser.then the big flood this spring dumped loads of debris in my outgoing area of my pond.i was going to dig it out with a shovel...no go...it was packed.so i fired up the tonka toy.it got the job done well.it may be small and only 30 h.p.but it rela can work.i love the little cub and loader.i got the job done in no time flat.i will be digging out a couple feet of the pipe and cutting it off and then replaceing the damaged section with new pipe nad also i nice concrete head wall.if that gets tore out...well noah and hid ark will be flaoting down my creek for sure....roflmao

Couple of things may help you out. 1. A bunch of "rip-rap" above the culvert would help deter erosion. rip-rap being any kind of larger rock, or brick, or pieces of concrete to slow the flow of water down the hill. 2. A sediment trap(deeper hole) in front of the culvert would help keep sediment from filling up the culvert during high water. Good Luck!!!!
