Well, after one complete year of having my wetlands dug, and 17 acres of surrounding ground planted, things are looking pretty good. The last week and a half provided much needed rain for the wetlands, which is now full, and my foodplots and crops are showing good stands. Despite the high heat and little rain all summer, I must say, I'm quite pleased with the outcome and look forward to hunting season this year. How'd everyone else fare?
I been seeing some nice bucks on my way to work. As far as wetlands, I see some ponds that the levels have dropped darn near 3 feet if not more. We need a GOOD soaking rain for about 3 days for things to get back to normal.
